Delicious sarcasm
Among the things the new Missouri abortion law mandates is an informational brochure that includes this statement:
“The life of each human being begins at conception. Abortion will terminate the life of a separate, unique, living human being.”
And here I thought that questions about the nature of life and when it begins were still quite up in the air. Apparently not; the State of Missouri solved it.
As Amy Goodman points out, no one at BP nor Massey Energy has yet been indicted for their massive, serious crimes. This guy’s crime was to hang up two banners (with a decent message, no less). Perhaps this is instructive when considering what the law and prison are for.

Unfuckingbelievable. And what exactly constitutes “clearly an inappropriate protest”?

Add this one to the BP Prez’s statement that they care about the “small people” What is surprising, of course, is not the sentiment. It’s the willingness to express it to the media.
